SACRED COLLECTION

This collection is from my Masters of Fine Art Thesis work. In it, I explore feminism and women’s history. I combine the language of quilt blocks with ancient Goddess iconography. I start using weeds as a metaphor for the strength and perseverance of women.

I created most of this collection between 2007 and 2008.
