This collection results from a three-month collaboration with the disabled artist collective of the Lebenshilfe Atelier, Weimar. I visited the studio and met with the artists there. I explained my process and taught techniques to create large pieces of patterned canvas that I sewed into many works for this collection. Together, we made a large city scene of Weimar where each artist who chose to participate painted a building, and I composed and sewed the pieces together, creating the Room with a View. This piece is in the permanent collection of the city of Weimar. We also made our 2-dimensional versions of the Goethe and Schiller sculpture.

I created most of this collection in 2013.
